    Learn To Bowl

    Sports Exposure

    Introduce Bowling as a Sport in School to create an enthusiastic desire to have fun in the Sports of Bowling as a great lifetime sport! It teach student the skills necessary to compete in bowling but will also enhance their coordination, promote self-esteem, and introduce them to a lifelong sport that everyone can enjoy. Students will discover the fun and excitement bowling has to offer. As their skills improve, they will experience a sense of accomplishment and enjoy the satisfaction of increased confidence for having mastered a new game.

    We teach students the skills necessary to compete in bowling but will also enhance their coordination, promote self-esteem, and introduce them to a lifelong sport that everyone can enjoy. The goal of physical education is to teach student the importance of building and maintaining healthy minds and bodies through athletics and to create awareness of the contribution an active lifestyle makes to achieve that goal. Developing a student’s interest in sports and leisure activities reinforces this teaching and introduces them to a lifetime of competitive fun and enjoyment.

    Fundamental of Bowling

    Sports Development

    This programme covers the basic fundamental of the lifelong sport – Bowling. Basic knowledge of the game including history, etiquette, rules, equipment, lane, safety, scoring to fundamental skills like different types of grip (conventional or fingertip), stance, footwork and approach (four-step or five-step), release (straight, hook, reverse hook, helicopter) and delivery (traditional vs. two-handed) will be taught in the first half of the programme. The emphasis of the latter half of the programme will be on developing of consistency by establishing the pre-shot routine and power of imagery. Last but not least is to understanding the importance in the art of spare conversion. Upon successful completion of this programme, students should be able to play and enjoy the game of bowling for a lifetime. Students will explore and demonstrate the understandings on all aspects of the physical game, included but not limited to equipment, lane, skills, techniques, spare conversion system and some basics on the mental game like strategy planning.
